I'm trying GSVideo 20110116 with a PS3EYE @ 640x480 30fps with your GettingStartedCaptureLinux example, and seeing black frames flasing on video.
this happens in every capture session, apparently at random distant intervals so can't understand what's the problem.
Disconnecting any other usb device, or saturating the Core2 Duo processor with an utility (burnMMX) doesn't change or worsen this behaviour,
Rarely it crashes, a dump is attached.

On the same setup GSVideo 0.7 doesn't have this problem at all.

Thanks for reporting, I don't remember making any changes to the GSCapture class between 0.7 and the last test release, but I'll check if there is something wrong.

I did several changes in the frame reading mechanism, which might have an effect on this issue. Please check again once I post version 0.8
