New IRC Client

Another IRC client. As if there are not enough of those available. So what is special about GSIrc?

It consists of two parts. One part is the daemon. It can run in the background and keep a connection to the IRC server. It handles all the IRC protocol stuff.

To use this daemon the second part of GSIrc connects to it. The second part is the GUI and provides all the features normal IRC clients have.

The advantage? The daemon part can run on some 24/7 server and keep the connection indefinitely. Integrated in the daemon is a JavaScript interpreter, which allows it to easily create bot features. This bot can be 'taken over' by the user via the GUI at any time.... read more
