Hi all (still) out there, as I was looking for a more convenient way to maintain the address books of several Siemens mobiles, I found scmxx and gscmxx. scmxx (0.9.0-2.1) was/is even available through the Ubuntu repositories, so I installed it and picked up the most recent gscmxx from sf.net and tried to run it. Only to find out, that it doesn't. Needs Gtk1, etc. So I started to convert it to Gtk2 - at least the initial screen comes up now after some initial conversions and modifications. My question now to this list: - Are there still people out there, that would be interested in the results of the conversion? - If so - would the project founder (Markus, are you still out there?) be interested to pick up these changes? - As I don't have a lot of experience in packaging (makefiles, diffs, etc.) would there be someone to provide some tips on how to handle this all (or even take over that part (*dream*))? Kind regards, Richard. ______________________________________________________ GRATIS für alle WEB.DE-Nutzer: Die maxdome Movie-FLAT! Jetzt freischalten unter http://movieflat.web.de |
