Hi everybody. I need an info line about scmxx --info --verbose with a bitmap and vcal supported phone. I have a C55 and i need some other type siemens for debugging. Example S45 or any not C55 releated phone. Send it to this list or direct via email to me. (kr...@li...) many thx users. Best regards: Christian Hamar alias kRiX |

(with "scmxx --info --verbose >log.txt 2>log2.txt") I cutted the interesting parts ;) Never mind that the output might differ slightly (but not much). So. thx anyway :)
This is the problem. On my C55 scmxx 0.6.3.4 doesn't recognize bitmap and vcal slots i think.
So the gscmxx doesn't display this features.
The bitmap uploading to C55 with scmxx 0.6.3.4 is working! BUt i think there is a detection problem ??
Can we solve this ?
Slot information (readable, not all may be writeable/deletable):
Sending: AT+CGMI
Received: SIEMENS
Received: OK
Sending: AT^SBNR=?
Received: ^SBNR: ("vcs",(1-50))
Received: OK
vCal (vcs): 1-50
Sending: AT+CGMI
Received: SIEMENS
Received: OK
Sending: AT^SPBS=?
Received: ^SPBS: ("FD","SM","ON","ME","LD","MC","RC","OW","MS","CD","BL","RD","CS")
Received: OK
Phonebooks: FD, SM, ON, ME, LD, MC, RC, OW, MS, CD, BL, RD, CS
Sending: AT+CPMS=?
Received: +CPMS: ("MT","SM","ME"),("MT","SM","ME"),("MT","SM","ME")
Received: OK
SMS storages: MT, SM, ME
Here is some line from my C55.
Why don't detect bitmap and other things ???
Thx :)

No detection problem. Readable and writable slots may differ.
> Can we solve this ?
Yes, at a later point or see below. This is no gscmxx issue but a scmxx
support issue.

This is really bad. Open a minicom and run the command
AT^SBNW=?
It should show the other slots and memory types. This will be supported later
but also needs a more generic (and slightly different) parameter layout than
currently implemented. This is targeted for scmxx-0.6.5. Meanwhile, you might
want to adjust the output to what you want:
in the file actions.c: in funtion info(): adjust the line
temp=get_filetypes(1);
to
temp=get_filetypes(0);
and recompile. This will make show up the writable ones (I did not want to
show both to not confuse the user).
Later versions will then show a table with flags about wether slots are
writable, deletable and readable.
I hope this works for you....
HS
PS: Actually, ME45/S45 can also handle .t9d and .bmx files on upload but that
will then also be handled...

Hm. so okay. Tried with minicom and showed bmp and other things.
ATZ
OK
at^sbnw=?
^SBNW: ("bmp",(0-3)),("mid",(4)),("vcs",(0-50)),("t9d",(0)),("bmx",(4))
OK
so now i change the source that you said to me and lets see what is happening :)
A question. Where can i find some general AT^ commands to siemens ? (i need C55 command list or something else)
Many thx.
Bye

So changed the functions. Now i can see bitmap and midi releated functions on gscmxx but not so usable :)
Think C55 uses some new functions or commands?
Any idea ?
many thx
