Welcome to Game Server Configulator Minecraft for Mac OSX!

Game Server Server Configulator (GSC) Originally made by Martin van Spanje of P-Edge media
(www.p-edge.nl) is an app to create and manage game servers on Mac OSX. The original GSC project was discontinued some time ago.

This new GSC project aims to create a customizable Minecraft server launcher and manager for Mac OSX. Naturally the language it is written in is Cocoa (Obj-C).

What will the GSC Minecraft be able to do?
If you've ever hosted an online Minecraft server on your Macintosh you know how annoying it is to have rely on the limited standard java GUI or mess about with the command line.

By using a Mac Game Server Configulator you can use all of the in-game serving options, and more. Apart from that, you are enabled to load and save several different configurations as well as run a dedicated server to host for other people even if you don't wish to play yourself.

There is an extreme alpha version available for download in the downloads section. The current GSC Minecraft currently supports:

  • Minecraft server launching and console view
  • Server broadcasts
  • Server configuration saves

More to come later.
