hi,
I just tried a HP Officejet (installed following this guide: http://how-to.wikia.com/wiki/How_to_get_an_HP_OfficeJet_scanner_to_work_in_Linux.
It scans, but I specificly want to take advantage of the duplex scanning option of this multifunctional thing.
options chosen in de "scan document" dialog:
page options tab: "double sided" (side facing) and scan all pages.
scan options tab:
paper: a4
mode gray
res: 200
compr: jpeg
batch: both yes and no tried
source: auto/adf tried.
I don't see what option I overlook?
thanks in advance!
Alex
I don't own a duplex scanner, and I haven't got round to munging the
options so that they look reasonable for people with duplex scanners.
The double-sided option on the first tab is aimed at people like me
with simplex scanners who want to scan double-sided documents.
Those with duplex scanners should select single-sided paper on the
first tab, and duplex scanning on the appropriate option on a later
tab (which one varies, depending on the model of scanner).
