#131 gscan2pdf won't load

Using Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS, PPA version of gscan2pdf 1.0.2 worked last Thursday (3/29/12). As of today, the GUI will NOT load. Using CLI command of gscan2pdf produces following output:

~$ gscan2pdf

Can't locate any instances of similar problem on forums. I've uninstalled & reinstalled program, but same results. Not sure where to go from here. Please advise.

    Please try the attached patch:

    patch /usr/share/perl5/Gscan2pdf/Frontend/Sane.pm < switch.patch

    I'm sorry, I don't understand. There is no "attached patch" file. I can't locate that file in the list of files. what am I doing wrong?

    Your patch works like a champ! gscan2pdf is up and running again! I'm back in business! Thank you for your assistance; consider this bug resolved, IMO!
