Hi all,

I have been playing around with GT4IDE and I found some
problems at the time to generate GAR

1) GAR file is NOT generated: I think this is because
when you press the GAR button it calls the "jars"
target instead of "dist" target. What I did was to copy
the ant code included in dist target into jars target.

2) After that I saw a failure because the directory
<ServiceName>/etc was not created. I create this
directory manually.

3) Finally I saw the .gar generated but when I tried to
startup the container I could not see it in the list of
the services displayed. This is because the "makeGar"
target could not find the files "deploy-server.wsdd"
and "deploy-jndi-config.xml". So I modify the lines
(included now in "jars" target):
<property name="garserverdeployment.file"
value="${package.dir}/deploy-server.wsdd"/>
<property name="garjndiconfigdeployment.file"
value="${package.dir}/deploy-jndi-config.xml"/>

to the place where thos files are. In my case (I hope
it is the general case :-) ):

<property name="garserverdeployment.file"
value="src/${package.dir}/deploy-server.wsdd"/>
<property name="garjndiconfigdeployment.file"
value="src/${package.dir}/deploy-jndi-config.xml"/>

The problem is that the code is in a folder
src/${package.dir}/ when the build.xml expects those
files to be in ${package.dir}/.

Well, I hope this helps meanwhile these problems get fixed.

Best Regards

Jesús
