#8 System root incorrectly reset to first partition

When running GrubConf 0.5.1 on Debian Sarge, the System
Root device for every Linux O/S entry is reset
incorrectly to /dev/hda1. The original menu.lst file
before entering GrubConf had root=/dev/hda4 on each
kernel line for Linux entries.
