[Grub-general] script to make grub menu boot disks

I have found the attached script to be quite useful, for instance to
make boot floppys that default to different distributions, kernels, or
OSs, and hope others may as well.  It has evolved and been used
successfully on Red Hat releases 7.3 through 9.
