When using Grsync with a large amount of files (7.5 tb), I noticed that the percentage was way off. It has been copying for 4713 minutes (yes, it's taking forever), and is currently giving me 100%, with 17m remaining. I know, however, that this is vastly off. I can understand that the estimated time is hard to calculate, because there are so many factors that you can't reliably say. However, the one thing I do think is that the percentage should be easily calculated. I looked at gnomes disk usage analyzer, and it is currently about 2 thirds of the way there, but has been fluctuating between 99-100% finished for the past two days. I have no clue why this is, but I hope you can fix it. Don't get me wrong, I love Grsync. I would just like to be able to see how far along it is at a glance, as opposed to opening gnome disk usage analyzer and waiting for it to load, and figure out a percentage from that.
Cheers!
Hello,
Thanks for you report.
The progress is managed by rsync itself, not by grsync, so this should be reported to them.
