I followed your instructions for installing under linux, and it compiled and runs with no complaints. After the initial progress bar splash screen disappears I get an empty window. Then without doing anything the cpu fan turns on and my cpu goes crazy with processors maxing out at 100% and staying there. Then if I press CTRL+C or select Edit->Copy table selection I get a segmentation fault. This is repeatable.
