Hi Johnny,
While using Grip to digitize my Jazz collection, I find that CD's that are a collection of 20 or more songs (especially 24) seem to fail the lookup function, both in FreeDB and Musicbrainz. I get some really strange entries with the lookup, and when the CD has 24 or more songs I can never seem to get a correct match. I've tried with just musicBrainz as well as just FreeDB, but the lookups always seem to fail with a large number of songs in the CD. Maybe this is due to some defect in the algorithm when the number of songs is large, I don't really know.
Would a MusicBrainz style of TOC lookup cure this lookup problem ? I have a four foot stack of CD's that have to be manually entered because of lookup failure.
I know you are probably a very busy person, so consider this a wish list item if you please. Many thanks for bringing Grip back to life, I find it the bast and easiest to work with for digitizing my collection.

MusicBrainz removed their FreeDB gateway last year, so Grip currently Do Not support MusicBrainz at all.
I am no personally able to add this support in any way, as I do not know programming (Yes, really)
But a Gentoo developer is doing some modernisation of the code, and I plan to ask hin if he can do it.
Short answer is, for MusicBrainz support to be added to grip someone need to send me patches that add the functionality, and I will gladly test and merge them.
