According to griefprogguide.pdf in version 3.2.1, UTF-8 is a "planned feature". However, there seems to be some support anyway in the executable. What is the status? Is it merely a documentation update that is needed?
Update. I see that UTF-8 is supported in the executable. It seems to often auto-detect UTF-8 encoding, but not always. I am guessing a meta-data line at the top of a file, e.g. %encoding:UTF-8% or something might help. Unfortunately --utf8=yes on invocation does not work (see ticket 46).
