[GridSim-developers] help with simulating failure

Good day,
My master thesis is on fault tolerant in grid scheduling using gridSim. i
have study gridsim example, including the resfailure which implement
regionalGIS. my work is on GIS not regional. how do i simulate that failure
has occur in my scheduling algorithmms? also i need some particular
resource to failed , not all. and when that happen i need to update GIS
when the gridlet is completed  or failed, which will keep record of
resource fail. when it failed i can schedule it to another resource.
My major problem is when in my scheduling algorithms should it be called
failure method and also it must be in executing a job before it fail, so
that the job can be transfer.please help me out.. i have exhausted my time
making research and now i don't have enough time with my research work.
