[GridSim-users] how to simulate such an environment

Hi all,

 

I want to simulate an grid environment and test my job scheduling algorithms
on it. And I use gridsim 5.0beta, the newest version.

The environment I want to simulate is actually an internet which contains
PCs and clusters. Users located in different areas submit jobs to a central
scheduler.

The central scheduler will schedule jobs to different PCs or clusters based
on the job requirement and the information about the computing power and
memory .

Anyone has similar experience of simulating such an grid and implementing
the central scheduler?
