Hi Komagal, GridSim is a discrete-event simulator in which the capacity of CPUs are expressed in Millions of Instructions per Second (MIPS); the length of a gridlet (i.e. job) is defined in Millions of Instructions (MIs). Therefore, you should model your job as a gridlet with a given number of MIs that reflect the executed operations. Please check the examples included with GridSim for more details.
