Hi Sarah,

I think that java 1.4.2 doesn't provide the tools package. You should upgrade
the java sdk to 1.5.0 or 6.

Try this (as root):

apt-get install sun-java6-jdk
update-java-alternatives -s java-6-sun

Then try to compile it again with ANT.
