[GridSim-users] Background traffic

Hi,
thank you for your very useful answer to "Router Problem".
Now I have a question about using background traffic functionality.
To implement my algorithm I calculate the Round Trip Time to each GridResource.When I use background functionality I expect that RTT grows,while this does not happen. 
Any idea why or where I am wrong?
