-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi good afternoon, I'm working on the datagrid package of GridSim and I wanted to execute a very simple simulation with a simple network topology (up to 6 routers) that form a complete graph of links among them. But I have a problem with total time execution of the simulation...here you have some results: #routers total exec. time (milliseconds) 2 (1 link) 340 3 (3 links) 380 4 (6 links) 3000 (3 seconds) 5 (10 links) 600000 (10 minutes) Extrapolating, with 6 routers would be 6 hours, ... with 8 routers (28 links) 52 years! :-S There is only 1 user, that sends 1 gridlet with a file of 1MB (very simple) And I'm using a laptop with an Intel Core 2 Duo 2,4GHz processor, and 4GB of RAM. Could anybody tell if this is normal, and why is it happening?...or better, does anbydoy know a solution for this, or has any idea?
