Thank you for your enquiry.
There is currently no explicit documentation on how to achieve what you want.

However, it is entirely possible to install GridSAM in an existing container, although its only really been attempted for Tomcat.
Which container are you intending to use?
Also the preferred database back-end is MySQL, although other systems could be made to work quite easily.

We have an intention to work on some issues which are likely to help you though.
Over the next few weeks the plan is to repackage GridSAM so that it comes as a war file, so it can be more easily deployed within existing systems.
Then, the configuration scripts that currently come with other OMII software would be made part of the GridSAM webapp.
