Greetings!. I am looking for a large model(maybe 100) houses to use as a starting place for a project I am working on. Ideally I would like it to have a central substation, or a central node of busstype swing. Anything you can give is apriciated!
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
There are a couple versions of "population scripts" that we've used to populate the taxonomy of prototypical feeders a couple times with some houses. Unfortunately, I don't think they are documented extremely well. You may try taking a look at:
1) An old population script written in MATLAB, but it is almost 10 years old - located here. Some of the reports in the PublishedReports folder have some more information, especially the 2012 reports.
2) A different project using GridLAB-D wrote a similar script in Python - located here - the "transactive energy" cases is one I know has a population script in it. I'm not sure how well it is documented.
Those two options may be useful, or at least give you an idea of how to create your own model.

Hello Zachariah,

Thanks a ton. It means a lot

Hi Dr. Tuffner,
Is there any working script to populate IEEE test feeders with Houses? or are there any already built and tested test feeders with Houses?
Thank you.
