I am making a short artificial dataset and doing a simple OLS (interactivly) by
genr x = randgen(u,0,1)
gnuplot x --with-lines --time-series
genr noise = randgen(u,0,1)
genr y = x + noise
ols y const x
I can save the fitted values or the resduals without problems. However, when I try to save these under a different variable name by changing the name in the dialogue box I get a 'Out of memory' error.
I am using GRETL ver 1.7.7.
