#1 compile error on RedHat 7.3/Ximian Desktop

while compiling from source on RedHat 7.3, with the
Ximian Desktop environment there are errors that
prevent the source from compiling. The error is as
follows:

add_dialog.c: In function `draw_dialog_ask_file':
add_dialog.c:187: parse error before `*'
add_dialog.c:188: `ok_button' undeclared (first use in
this function)
add_dialog.c:188: (Each undeclared identifier is
reported only once
add_dialog.c:188: for each function it appears in.)
add_dialog.c:196: `cancel_button' undeclared (first use
in this function)
add_dialog.c:223: parse error before `*'
add_dialog.c:235: `open' undeclared (first use in this
function)
make[2]: *** [add_dialog.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory

this error happens when configured for both GTK 1.4 and
GTK 2.

This is a known issue, I think it's due to some library
compatibility on RH7.3. I haven't a RH7.3 system running by
now, so I'm searching for someone to fix it. By now try to use
the rpms.
