#3 Doesn't like Tuesdays

Or more specifically "Tues". Having added http://www.viruscomix.com/rss.xml, on first update a substantial minority of items wound up with a NULL in the PubDate field. Examining the raw feed, I confirmed all the items which had a NULL in the *_item.pubdate field in the db did correctly have a PubDate field in the RSS feed. Further investigation revealed that what all the items had in common was that they'd all been published on a Tuesday. The PubDate field always started with "Tues, ". I am guessing that the problem is that a four-letter code for Tuesday was used instead of the three-letter codes which were working fine on the other items.
