sorry for "meckern" (don't know the english word).
Is it possible to deactivate the zoom-feature in build 2437 by configfile or registry ?
For me, the zoom is to big so that the covered area is to large.
If not possible in this build:
Please make it an option, make it smaller and make it transparent.
thanks a lot,
Never mind, we're used to Gemecker ;-)
And actually, what you write is valuable feedback to us.
I see what you mean.... just out of interest, which screen resolution are you using? We've designed the feature to adapt to a certain percentage of screen dimension - maybe we've chosen the wrong percentage if you feel it is too large...
Thanks for your feedback,
I'm using 2 screens in extended desktop mode, each screen having a resolution of 1280x1024.
The zoomfeature's height is approximately 20% of the screen height.
Hope this will help.
20% is exactly what I designed it to be. So this means there is not a bug that it's drawn to large but you "just" find it covering to much.
We will look into a setting, unfortunately our settings GUI is already cluttered to much.
in my opinion there is no need for a change.
With the Z-Key the Zoom-Function turns to the good features ;)
Even the size is OK.
What I said about transparancy >> Forget it. That's nonsense. That cannot work.
What "zoom feature?" In portable 1.1.0 -2437, I see no zoom or even resize image functions. Are you talking about in Paint, if transport the shot to it?
I see in greenshot.ini, an entry "ZoomerEnabled=True"
but there's no zoom icon or menu option in GS, itself. I only see zoom in Paint. Yes, in it - the smallest increase is from 100 to 200% & that is usually way too much. Put's it completely out of focus.
@Rainer: press the Z-key while seeing it, this should disable it and it shouldn't come back until the next Z-key press in the capture screen.
@Brittney: we are talking about the round zoomer which is shown when making a region capture. This might not appear if you are using Greenshot from a remote desktop / terminal server session.
thanks for the hint with the Z-Key.
Thsi is much better than manipulating files or registry ;)
