I love the Dropbox plugin! I managed to get it to authenticate perfectly and Dropbox created a folder for the plugin.

However my initial attempts to save to the Dropbox folder failed. I got a commication timeout error, it was when it was trying to call the Dropbox upload command - my apologies but I didn't copy the error message. I managed to fix it by closing an re-opening both Greenshot and Dropbox.

    Hi Ian,

Please let us know if this happens again, without error it's hard to guess what was wrong.
But I will have a look if we can make less error mesages in general if a retry might work...

    Best wishes,
    Robin

    Hi Robin,

I tried installing on a second machine and bar the installer not requesting admin permissions (see next bug ID 3593545), once I ran the installer as administrator, the installation went fine. When trying to use the Dropbox plugin I have to reathenticate, but this time round the authentication worked perfectly and it saved my screenshot into the Dropbox/Apps/Greenshot directory straight away without any errors.

Hmmm... must have been a glitch at Dropbox, still I will check if we can catch this so a retry is possible without getting an error report. Would have been really good to have the exception....
