#25 Story line for short movies staring Great COW
I am thinking that we could develop some cool and funky (and funny) ideas for our GreatCOW character. She (or he?) should be like a person interacting with the world in humorous situations. We already created one illustration having our cow (we need to give her a name! :)) sitting at a computer.
I don't know -- there are all kinds of strange and funny situations we can put her in. ... Maybe first I should let you brainstorm some ideas on your own with Zibi. (This works well for you two.) Later I can add perhaps some a few more ideas, or give you feedback. I will think about it some more ;).
Also, I was wondering about the gender issue. A cow is a girl. Should we add a bull? Even though it is a boy?
Think about it :)
So maybe type in here some of your ideas -- a brief outline story line for our short flash animated movies.
(Something similar you did previously for the isleoflady).

Sorry for my delay here in replying... A little crazy here. I like him, I like him. Very nice character.
Now, here's one idea for both of you.... How about about bullfighting? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bull_fights (You know it probably better as "corrida" -- from the French word.) But I would like to put a special twist on it :)) How about if our Spanish bull is waving the red cape (muleta) in front of a computer programmer who is attacking and charging it with a vengeance... Of course, somehow we need to indicate to the viewer (use some funny symbolism here) that this is a hacker, programmer guy. I will let you decide how to do so. This could be an interesting parody of a "bullfight", what do you think?
And and and... we could develop a *short* movie to go with it. I know that it is more complicated than just a simple illustration, so you could take a little longer -- depending on the time you need.

Well, I could come up with some ideas, I suppose... But I think you can create some plot(s) on your own. Make it funny. But it does not need to be too complicated. It should not be too long. With this bullfight scene, I just wanted to jump start your imagination. I am leaving the rest to your full creative freedom.

Great! And one other comment. If you have some interesting continuing (developing) theme or story, then we can build upon it. For example, we might create a loose "series" of short animated films about the bullfighting hackers. :)

I'm attaching the hacker image and the first scene of movie clip - in fact, the scene is uncompleted, the bull with mapeta is missing (I'll complete it soon). The background is to be changed as well (temporarily it is taken from the hacking cow).
An idea of the movie clip is that the hacker is gradually going mad while looking at the bull waving mapeta - finally he attacks the mapeta furiously. The bull taking mapeta off his way hacker is hitting a monitor with his head. The final scene is a view of the hacker's face on the monitor screne.
What do you regard it?
I have also an idea of another short and funny (I think so) movie clip. The hacker sits at the computer hacking. Suddenly he falls down the chair, shocked and terrified: the bull's (or cow's) head comes out the monitor :)

I love it. I think it is funny, in an interesting, surprising way, and it has a great potential for a nice little animated film. Also, the second story line is very interesting.
Please carry on, but also do send me an occasional work progress update.
So, I am eagerly awaiting the final outcome of this production.

The first movie clip is to be completed and attached about Wednesday or Thursday (21.-22.03.). The another one is simplier, so I think we are able to complete it till Monday-Tuesday (26-27.03.)

Hi Eliza,
The movie is great. We will definitely put it somewhere in a prominent place on our web site. But for now, let us stop any next assignments. I am not exactly sure what we want to do next in terms of graphics. There is a very large amount of low level programming work that we must do first. And I still do not completely feel the visual impression and the visual impact of GreatCOW. But I think the technical issues of low level Java programming and software architecture must come first -- before the visuals.
So I believe that for the rest of this month (March) we will have no more assignments for you. But you did a very nice work on this movie.

Eliza, let's stop with this assignment. It is good the way it is now. I think that the movie is quite nice without any sounds. I like it. So please take the rest of the month off, or concentrate on other clients and other assignments that you might have besides GreatCOW. :)
