Currently, as far as I know, it's only possible to change the control mode to view-only after the window showing the remote screen appears. If the mouse cursor is positioned initialy on that screen, the procedure to do the switch could interfere in the work of a person possibly using the remote computer. To avoid the problem, it is necessary add an option to the GUI, acessible before starting a connection, which sets the view-only mode, like there is now for "disable server input" (thanks!). I'm using a script which creates a temporary config file for a selected connection and runs grdc with "-c", so to make possible using this way, if the option will not be also stored in the config file, I suggest adding a new command-line parameter.

The feature was implemented in development trunk.
