I am currently using tailme to view remote log files (FTP)
in windows. I use logwatcher for my local logs however,
and would really like to be able to use logwatcher
exclusively. If you could add remote log viewing over
ftp, ala the Team|Target-Site feature, it would be a
great addition.

I second the reconmendation, we use a tailing script on some
unix boxes, if this plug in could watch files on external
systems, I can think of a couple dozen people who would be
    using it.

tailing files from a remote unix account would be
uber-handy, although I realize maybe not the easiest thing
to implement... I'm definately keeping an eye on this
project, and hoping that feature becomes available.

we are currently operating a remote application via a Samba
attchment to monitor remote log files on remote Unix server

comes to some tricky synchronisation problems with caches

looks like Samba does not refresh READ cache while the
remote application carries on WRITING log files on remote
    Unix file system

would anyboby meet similar problems ?
