fedora core 6/i386 PC.

yum install GraphicsMagick-perl
(this installs v1.1.7)

any GM perl code produces this error...

/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/Graphics/Magick/Magick.so: undefined symbol: InitializeMagick

    What does:
    ldd /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/Graphics/Magick/Magick.so
    produce? It seems likely that libGraphicsMagick.so is not being found at run time.
