Decodes OK on Ubuntu with GM-1.4 snapshot of 20140808 and with GM-1.3.18 that is provided by Ubuntu. The "-verbose" option doesn't say anything interesting.

Of course it is possible that SourceForge or Firefox has repaired the damage before or while I downloaded it.

    sum example.gif
    reports
    16577 146

    and ls -l example.gif says it's 148762 bytes.

If either of those is wrong, rename the file "example_gif.bin"
and upload it again. With this filename extension, nothing should mess with it.

Oh Mr. Glenn Randers-Pehrson. I can't find GM-1.4 source code by searching on Google. Does the GM-1.4 be published on Internet?I can't find it on http://www.graphicsmagick.org/NEWS.html. Could you give me a download link?

Thanks a lot. I'm thinking that error was caused by old version GM. I'will try it again using GM-1.4.

The 1.4 versions are development snapshots which may or may not be newer than existing 1.3.X releases. The 1.30.20 release is plenty current enough.

Please download the file you uploaded and make sure that it is still the same as the file you uploaded. We have noticed that SourceForge is processing uploaded image files so they are not the same as the original upload.
