As the progam is looking on harddrives would it be possible to retrieve the cummulated writings on an SSD. drive? (A few days ago i got to know that i should have got the 16GB RAM MacBookAir instead of the 8GB RAM as the SSD HD has a restricted lifetime; even it helps through swapping to 'increase' RAM)

Thanks for the suggestion. However, I don't think GrandPerspective is the application best fit to show SSD wear and tear. First, this is low-level info that I assume is not easily available. I am not sure the drivers expose these low-level info, and even if they do, it may vary per driver/vendor. That's a lot of effort for such a secondary feature. A dedicated app that specializes on SDD storage tracking would be more suited. Second, even if GrandPerspective can retrieve the info, there is no natural way to visualize it. GrandPerspective views are entirely file-based, whereas this aspect is related to storage blocks. A file is stored using many storage blocks, which can have different wear-and-tear. It would require a separate visualization, one that is not file-based.
