This is actually the tricky thing to reproduce. I found the following way: 1. Open example DB -- this focuses on Edwin Michael Smith 2. Click the right arrow by his parents box to make his parents active 3. Click 'Add new child to Database and to current family' 4. Add a person, click OK 5. Watch Edwin Michael Smith become an active person again This is not specific to Home person.=20 Also not specific to switching focus to parents first.=20 Same can be done when step 2 is replaced with going to any=20 bookmark. The important issue is NOT TO CLICK into the AP=20 box before adding a child. A click there seems to enforce=20 the correct behavior.=20 My impression is that all the ways of changing AP other than=20 a mouse click on the person don't completely make the person=20 active in all aspects. Something is still kept about the previously=20 active person. Maybe goto_active_person() is not doing it's job in all regards? I'll look at this tonight.=20 Alex On 2003.12.09 13:41, Tom Weichmann wrote: > Bug Found >=20 > When in family view clicking on 'Add new child to Database and to current= =20 > family' The child is added correctly, but after closing the dialog box, = the=20 > selected person is set to my 'home' person, still in family view.
