[Gramps-users] problems getting gramps to run... (fwd)

Hmm, either I'm completely retarded or I've missed some essential step -- but
I can't get gramps to run for the live of me ;-)

I just re-installed all of gnome by hand (ugh) because the stupid ximian
installed wouldn't even run... anyway, I'm on gnome 1.4 and:

gnome-libs 1.2.13
Python 1.5.2
PyXML-0.6.6
gnome-python-1.4.1

Now, I know the readme says:

Python 1.5.2
Gnome 1.2
PyGnome 1.0.53
PyXML 0.6.2

but I'm assuming my "greater than" version are ok?

Gramps compiles and installs just fine, but when I try to run it:

Or is this an "obvious" problem? :-)

(I might have messed up the gnome hand-install - *sigh* )
