I'd be more than happy to send you my GEDCOM file, it's about 1MB or I can send you a GEDCOM file that is a partial of my actual file. I have tried importing GEDCOM's in different formats: 1) File Type - Destination FTW (family Tree Maker for Windows), GEDCOM Version 5.5, Character set ANSEL & with Abbreviated tags. 2) All the same options but the character set being ANSI. They both import, but with no notes. I can use the following options when making a GEDCOM: Destination can be FTM, FTW, TempleReady, PAF, or ROOTS GEDCOM can be version 4 or version 5.5 Character set can be ANSEL, ANSI, IBMPC, or MACINTOSH I can also Indent records and abbreviate tags or not (I have found that if I don't abbreviate the tags the GEDCOM won't import) > > 3.
