This is a great work a nice result but maybe only for a local use. I guess Android first uses Google servers and we are able to use XSLT with a lot of "local" XML parsers, also MSIE ... :-\ We will run an expensive (memory, ressources) script on client side, ignore proxies, and we will not be able to quickly parse a 1Mo Gramps XML file :( Maybe also possible to run Gramps under MeeGo (based on Qt but some GTK/GNOME apps) ? Working with RPM which used BerkeleyDB for management, maybe just check if bindings and DB support are available on python version ? --- En date de : Mer 2.6.10, Duncan Lithgow <dun...@gm...> a écrit : > De: Duncan Lithgow <dun...@gm...> > Objet: Re: [Gramps-users] Google Android > À: "Michiel Nauta" <m.d...@he...> > Cc: "Gramps-users-list" <gra...@li...> > Date: Mercredi 2 juin 2010, 21h50 > Hi Michiel > > It's a nice piece of work, please just put the files you > have into the > wiki and worry about tidying it up later...
