You have made me a little bit nervous with this change. Gramps has been built around the following convention: "Views" are for navigating data, "Editors" are for changing data, and "Reports" are for getting data out of Gramps (to be printed, e-mailed, etc). What you have done mixes a "view" with a "report". I'm not saying what you did was wrong, but I want to make sure we are aware of this. I have never really been thrilled about the term "Quick Report". You can't really print or save the quick reports. It isn't a great way to get information OUT of Gramps. The only thing you can do is copy them to the clipboard - and that isn't even true for all of them now that you have added tables. I wonder if a better name would be "Quick View". That would bring them closer in line to the convention I described above. What do other people think? Am I just being picky, or is this important? Thanks, ~Brian |
