Don -- Today I was following the instructions you just sent out regarding intermittent corruption of grdbs (hope you get to the bottom of it soon!) While doing so, I noticed the dialog for selecting files is schizophrenic wrt sort arrows. Click on "Modified", the down arrow indicates descending order, with the most recent files on the top of the list). However, click on "Name", you see a down arrow in the column heading, yet the files are sorted in ascending alphabetical order! Confusing, isn't it? If, as you say, this is the way gtk works, is there an explanation somewhere for it?
