Hello, I'd like to know if there is any possibility to create an album with all pictures and their captions. If not this might be nice feature to add to the program. Another thing I'd like to see is the chance to add *all* pictures the the detailed ancestor report. Thanks, Chris |

None exist. Feel free to do a feature request, but obviously, developers are needed to actualy implement this. I like the album idea, it should not be too hard to make with the openoffice backend, or in webpage. If you do a feature request, do mention in what order the album should put out the pictures, as that looks like the difficult thing to get correct. Hello, thanks for this suggestion. Coppermine is really great. However I liked the idea to manage family photos with GRAMPS because you can attribute the pictures to information in the database. Older family photos only gain value with the information going with them, otherwise they are just some old photos. Chris P.S. Where can I make a feature request? But I found that by setting up categories and albums in Coppermine was a better way to go. Right now my plan is to write a limited history book using OpenOffice. Using their Master Document to pull each chapter together. I can get the data from Gramps and the pictures from Coppermine Originally I had hoped that by writing a narrative in Gramps that this would be a quick way of doing that. But have since changed my mind. The nice thing about the Master Document is that you can pull the same chapter into a number of books. Also so charts and lists can be directly imported from Gramps that will be inserted into the book. > > > > Chris > > P.S.
