I just wanted to thank everyone for putting up with our annual April
Fool's joke. Just so everyone knows:
* There is no AFJ (April Fool's Joke) Software.
* A company cannot take over and close the source code for a
program covered by the General Public License.
* I was the person who wrote the "press release"
Apparently, we weren't the only project with this idea, since the
OpenOffice project put out a press release on being acquired by
Microsoft :-) http://www.openoffice.org/
I was impressed that several of you caught the Monty Python reference in
Thanks to Trevor Rhodes for his effort in this ruse. It would have
looked a little funny if it had come from me :-)

It's John Cleese and Graham Chapman.
