I'm right now translating the wiki 3.0 manual. I found this on the item
archiving Family Trees.
You can easily archive and timestamp family trees with GRAMPS built-in use
> of GNU Revision Control System <http://www.gnu.org/software/rcs/> or *RCS*.
> For this to be possible this utility must be installed on your computer.
> To make an archive, first make sure the tree you wish to archive is open.
> Then select the open family tree, and click the * Archive * button. The
> archive will be listed under the tree from which it was created. Archives
> can be deleted and renamed.
Does this mean that the program checks whether RCS is installed? Because I
do not get this button. Or is this changed in the mean time?
