When I switch the view to not show the sidebar, but instead show the tabs view, it is no longer possible to change tabs by clicking on them. Changing back to the sidebar view, clicking one of the icons, and changing back once again to the tabs view does highlight the current tabs. --Tino Meinen |

This was a rather frustrating issue to work. I still don't have a good solution for it. I'm wondering if a GNOME bug is being tripped. With the latest CVS, there is a work around. Disable the sidebar from the menu, then quit GRAMPS. The next time GRAMPS is started, the sidebar will be disabled and the tabs will work. For some reason, if GRAMPS starts off by hiding the side bar and enabling tabs, the tabs will not work. However, if GRAMPS starts off with the side bar disabled, enabling and disabling the side bar will work, and the tabs will work. Hope this helps.
