User Information: =================== I tried to load an old .grdb file but got an error message. Could not access it by any mean. I also tried the import feature, but it did nothing. So during this operations the import and export labels disappeared. The error log follows. Is it not possible to load an old database file into Gramps? The old file is from the version of Gramps on Kubuntu 7.04, my syste, now is new-installed Kubuntu 7.10. Sincerely Nils M. It depends from which version your grdb is a bit, but normally everything can be imported. However, with one catch: grdb format is _not_ portable. Please, carefully read this article: http://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=Recover_corrupted_grdb Benny 2007/10/26, Nils M. Hi! I'm in contact with Nils Nielsen (I know him) and will try to help him through the problems by recovering the grdb-file and then export to GRAMPS-package (gpkg).
