Apparently, Popen3 is not available in Windows - although the manual implies that it is. I get a traceback when I try it. Additionally, the manual explicitly says that the "wait()" function is not available in Windows. It is used 2 lines down. So we either need to rewrite this code for Windows, or disable it for Windows. http://docs.python.org/lib/module-popen2.html Also, I don't have RCS installed in my system. So the RCS option is grayed out. But, it is selected by default. So I can still try to run it. And I get the same error. So we need to make it impossible to run the RCS tool if it is not installed. Martin, That is by design. Gramps databases are not portable (that is, the .grdb format).
