First, pclos ships a bad version of GRAMPS, you should use 2.2.8 or 2.2.10 instead of 2.2.9

Second, GRAMPS is already version 3.0.3, with 2.2.x branch no longer supported. So upgrade if you can.

For your error, you have a database problem, so do the following:

1/keep the .backup.gramps file inthe folder you save the grdb files save
2/read http://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=Recover_corrupted_grdb and see if you did not make those mistakes
3/run the following tools on your database
a) check and repair tool
b) rebuild reference tables tool
c) rebuild secondary indexes tool
d) check and repair tool

All should work, if not, the wiki page given above gives some dump and reload tools, but best is to start a fresh database importing the backup.
If it still does not work, you should get version 3.0.x, and see if that can handle the file, as only bugs against 3.0.x are being resolved.
