Oeps, I see you run ubuntu but made it with windows.
Ubuntu .deb package of 2.2.10 is present on sourceforge.

The filechooser did not return a filename, so my guess is you clicked wrong while selecting the file.

Version 2.2.10 solves the error of crashing, not of selecting no name.  However, I see nobody made a windows version up to now. Check sourceforge page from time to time.
