Alain, could you remake a bug ticket for this, and mail the bug number here in this thread?

I send this mail again, because the previous seem to be rejected due to
its size with the harcopy joined.

Hi,
I have reported a bug there is two days. I had a look in the bug
trackerto br sure it was correctly taken, and it was.
Surprised that there is no answer, I have a look this morning, and no
more trace of this bug. Not closed, no trace at all.

It was about the fact that Gramps when opening a media, using xdg-open,
doesn' seem to detach it, and block it in memory, even I close the viewer..
Impossible to kill or stop it, the only way was to close gramps. It
could not be a big problem, but it opens and block a process more, each
time I open a media.
I have had more than 30 processes blocked after some hours using gramps,
and my computer was, at this time, very slow, because of this important
memory used for nothing.

I never had such problems, and I had it with 3.4.4.2

Someone perhaps think that it was not a Gramps problem, but he ought to
mail me such advice, not to just remove the bug, if it's the case.

Curious ...

A+
