Nope, not happening. Building gobject-introspection is stuck on Python2. Once built, it might work with Python3, but that's going to take some hoop-jumping.  Probably better to put that effort into fixing it. In the meantime, I'll make a bundle with Python2.7 for this (and probably the next few) release(s).


Python 2.7 is as good as python 3. Some minor things might be slower, as for convenience we changed some iteriterms() into items(), so some things which were iterators have become in 2.7 non-iterators. If that is noticeable will depend on the user data.
