You are using version 2.2.8 of Gramps. I believe this bug is fixed in 2.2.10, the last in the 2.2.x series, see our download page on sourceforge for a ubuntu package.

In the meantime, Gramps is already 3.2.x and has recieved many new features. If you upgrade, backup your data first by export to a .gramps xml file.

This bug is harmless by the way
